5 days (L. E. and Security Agencies Only )
This class is for advanced dog teams only. The focus of this training program will be on tactical applications and procedures of the working dog team in hostile rural and urban environments. It is essential for the safety of the dog and the team to act as one unit. I will teach movements and tactics such as using your dog for a sandbag, hiding behind cover, moving from location to location to gain a better sight picture while remaining safely behind cover and keeping your partner in a location where he will be safe but still useful if needed for certain scenarios. We will cover vehicle searches and felony traffic stops, building searches and field searches. This will also cover effective decoy work to maintain the highest level of proficiency.
